Lost a craftworld; gained a god

The awesome new Triumvirate of Ynnead is now available to pre-order.

We’re excited about this stunning new trio of miniatures for a whole bunch of reasons.

The miniatures themselves are gorgeous, from the incredibly intricate Harlequin-esque detail on the Visarch’s armour, to the swirling vortex of soul-energy around the Yncarne, these kits are a testament to what is now possible in plastic (and don’t forget that gyrinx…). Even if you have no wish to add them to your army, we’re sure many will be picking these three up just to paint, and we wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a good few popping up at Golden Demon events this year.

But if you do want to use them in your game, then these three are a formidable force. With stat-lines to rival the greatest Imperial heroes of the 41st Millennium, and a host of special rules to enhance your army, used right, these guys are going to kick serious face on the tabletop.

And of course, what they represent for the story of Warhammer 40,000 is massive: the birth of a new god in the Dark Millennium and the rise of a new sect within the Eldar race, noble warriors and savage raiders joined in a single purpose, to bring about the salvation of the ancestral Aeldari race! (Also, everyone knows red armies look sweet.)

The new miniatures are accompanied by the epic second instalment in the Gathering Storm – Fracture of Biel-Tan. The events of Fall of Cadia were a pretty seismic upheaval, and this book is just as pivotal. It actually takes place at the same time as Fall of Cadia, but way across the galaxy, and deep in the Webway, and of course, from the perspective of the Eldar.

The new Triumvirate, Fracture of Biel-Tan and a selection of new army-sets are all available to pre-order now.
