New T’au, New Titans, and More!

Next week is going to be a great one for both Warhammer 40,000 and Adeptus Titanicus, with exciting new books and miniatures for both! First, we find out how the Psychic Awakening has impacted both the T’au Empire and Genestealer Cults, then we have a boxed game and some amazing new models for Adeptus Titanicus, including some tiny shipping containers that will melt your heart! Let’s get to it.

The Greater Good is the latest book in the Psychic Awakening series, focusing on the ambitious T’au Empire, stalwart Astra Militarum and Ordo Tempestus, and insidious Genestealer Cults. You’ll find new rules, Relics, Warlord Traits and Stratagems for all four factions, wrapped in a thrilling story exploring a sprawling war that leaves them all paranoid and reeling. We’ll dig deeper into each of these factions, so keep an eye out for more information later this week.

The Greater Good will be available as a standard hardback and eBook, plus a darkly beautiful collector’s edition with a soft-touch embossed cover, black page edges and ribbon bookmark.

Whether you order the standard hardback or the collector’s edition, we’ll throw in a set of datasheet cards for Commander Shadowsun and The Eight – they’re back, and more amazing than ever! Don’t hesitate to pre-order your book, because the cards are only available while stocks last.

Speaking of Shadowsun, O’Shaserra leads the Fifth Sphere Expansion, rocking an upgraded XV22 Stalker Battlesuit! This suit is positively bristling with weapons, and she’s also accompanied by MV37 Advanced Guardian and MV62 Command-link Drones.

This model is loaded to the gills with cool details, and a choice of three different heads, including a half-helmeted version.

The Genestealer Cults are also getting some reinforcements of their own, in the form of a new Start Collecting! set.

The Start Collecting! Genestealer Cults box is stuffed with models, including Acolytes (including an Iconward), Neophytes and an Achilles Ridgerunner. If you’re thinking about throwing in your lot with the uprising, or you want to swell the ranks of your ongoing rebellion, this box is essential. Of course, they could use an inspirational figure to help with recruiting… Perhaps a legendary gunfighter? Enter the Kelermorph!

Previously found in the Starn’s Disciples box for Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, this three-armed shootist will soon be available separately to assassinate enemy leaders and inspire nearby cultists to greater acts of fervour.

Fancy stomping around with death-dealing god-machines of your own or growing the ranks of your existing maniple? This week sees a slew of new releases going up for pre-order, including a new box for beginners and established players alike.

This impressive set includes 2 Reaver Titans, 2 Warhounds, and 2 Cerastus Knights, plus all the tokens, dice, and counters you need to play the game. Split it with a friend for two balanced forces, or keep it all to yourself – we won’t blame you. None of these models overlap with the Grand Master Edition, so established players will want in on the action, too.

This coming week also heralds the release of a completely new class of Titan – the Warbringer Nemesis. Even though it’s about the same size as the Reaver class, its main armament is a Warlord-grade quake cannon!

The gun is so massive it distorts the entire upper torso, pushing the head down further to make room. It’s armed with a volcano cannon and laser blaster, but the arm weapons are fully compatible with Reaver-class weapons so you have plenty of options.

If you weren’t already excited about the new Adeptus Titanicus releases, wait until you see these tiny Munitorum Armoured Containers, complete with interior detail and doors you can open!

The Adeptus Titanicus Manufactorum Imperialis terrain set includes four of them, plus loads of cranes, stacks of barrels, silos, and pipelines. Use them to heighten the sense of scale on your bases, add a lived-in industrial feel to your tabletop terrain, or grab a couple of boxes to create an entire manufacturing district!

If you’re looking for new ways to play your games, the Shadow and Iron book is for you. The third supplement for Adeptus Titanicus focuses on the aftermath of the Betrayal at Calth, including new missions, maniples and rules for stringing games together into campaigns.

This 97-page book also details the Psi-Titans of the Ordo Sinister, including the Warlord Sinister. It’s available in both hardback and eBook editions. We’ll tell you more about it in the coming week, so keep an eye out. Speaking of digital books, we’re also releasing Titandeath and Doom of Molech as eBooks at the same time.

Soon, you’ll notice that new Titan models (starting with the Warbringer Nemesis) will be supplied with a card-style Command Terminal right in the box – we’ll continue to offer the heavier board versions separately if you prefer them. A new style pack with terminals for a Warlord, Warbringer Nemesis, Reaver, and two Warhounds will be up for pre-order next weekend.

Rounding out the Adeptus Titanicus releases are transfer sheets for Legios Metalica, Ignatum and Astorum, plus their associated Knight houses. As your ranks swell, you’ll want to get your new Titans and Knights on the table as quickly as possible, while still looking sharp.

New card packs will help you keep the rules right in front of you during your games. You’ll find sets of army profiles and rules reference cards for Mordor (and Barad-Dûr), the Defenders of Pelennor (Minas Tirith, the Fiefdoms, Rohan and the Dead of Dunharrow), and the Fallen Realms (Angmar, the Easterlings, Variags of Khand, the Serpent Horde, Far Harad, and the Corsairs of Umbar). You’ll also find a set of reference cards for Magical Powers so you never forget to use them!

While Shadowsun leads the T’au Empire’s Fifth Sphere Expansion, the estranged hero Farsight is left to fight his own battles. Farsight: Empire of Lies is the second book in the series, and Phil Kelly explores the story of the commander’s divergent path that drives a wedge between him and the Greater Good. This thrilling novel will be available in both hardback and eBook editions.

All of these goodies will be available to pre-order on the 8th of February! We’ll have more information about some of them throughout the week, so keep an eye out right here, and make sure you sign up for our email newsletter so you never miss a new release or announcement.
