Threat Identified in Mechanicus

The Adeptus Mechanicus are expanding their hunt for blackstone across the galaxy and unearthing far more than they bargained for. Kasedo Games are getting into the spirit by revealing the enemy you’ll be fighting in their forthcoming Adeptus Mechanicus video game… Here they are to tell us more:

As more information is revealed and first gameplay is shown from today at the Games Developers Conference, we can tell you that the secret’s out about who the Adeptus Mechanicus will come up against in the new turn-based tactical game, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus.

As the battle for supremacy erupts on Silva Tenebris, the mechanically undead Necrons go head-to-head with your Omnissiah-blessed troops in devastating tomb warfare.

Confirmed so far are Necrons units such as Necron Warriors, Immortals, Flayed Ones and Canoptek Scarabs – with many more to be announced in the lead up to release, and there are some big surprises in store.

Along with this news, we’re treating you to a Warhammer Community-exclusive animation, and you can’t have missed the new art throughout this article, showing off not only these newly announced enemies but also giving you a glimpse into the devastating weapons that you will have in your arsenal.

Servitors, Skitarii and Servo-skulls make up the rest of the new information revealed, showing just some of the wide range of controllable units in the game.
